What to Expect on your Trip

This full day Moreton Island adventure tour departs ex Aqua Adventures (95 Marine Parade, Southport), Gold Coast. Enjoy marine life spotting, a Tangalooma wreck snorkel, swimming, fish feeding, free time to walk the islands beaches and buffet lunch, all on board of a large stable catamaran.

Moreton Island is the third largest sand island in the world and a declared Marine Park. The Tangalooma wrecks were purposely sunk in 1963 and have become a world famous snorkelling and diving spot.

Allow 7-8 hours total turnaround time including your hotel transfer for this island adventure.

DEPARTURE TIMES

Tour departs between November and May on most days. Check the tour calendar for dates and to book online.  

• 8:00am - Safety Briefing and depart Aqua Adventures
• 9:00am - Arrive at Peel Island for a 1 hour stop over, morning tea and island walk. 
• 10:00am - Depart Peel Island for Tangalooma
• 11.00am - Arrive Tangalooma - take island hike, snorkelling, swimming 
• 12.30pm - Buffet Lunch is served on-board
• 2.00pm - Depart Tangalooma. Enjoy a cold beverage on the trip back.
• 4.00pm arrive back to Aqua Adventures Southport

PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS

• Be able to swim for snorkelling
• Be of reasonable health and fitness
• Complete a medical declaration and liability waiver on the day for in water activities

THE VESSEL

Game Changer is a modern purpose built 11.9mtr catamaran that can comfortably seat 42 people. Its offers a great level of comfort with toilet, viewing decks, large sheltered seating area as well as easy access platform for getting on and off the front of the boat.
